Man City have an 'issue' - Stefan Borson concerned by 'shock' transfer news
Manchester City's reducing squad size could be seen as a major issue for Enzo Maresca as yet another big-money sale is expected.
That is according to former Manchester City financial adviser Stefan Borson, who exclusively told Football Insider that Man City's transfer business could cause problems.
So far, only Elliot Anderson, Jeremy Monga and Geronimo Rulli have been added to the squad, with Ayyoub Bouaddi set to arrive before the window slams shut.
Rumours over a deal for Chelsea's Enzo Fernandez have been swirling for weeks, but time is running out for a £120million deal to be struck.
The argument can be made that the Citizens haven't done enough to plug gaps in the squad, cashing in on Tijjani Reijnders, Rodri, James Trafford and Nathan Ake.
This follows the exits of Bernardo Silva, John Stones, and of course, Pep Guardiola, with some concerned by the state of the current squad.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, Borson is far from happy with City's business so far, concerned by the impending exits for Savinho and Omar Marmoush.
"This is part of the thing with Savinho, but certainly central forwards, I think, are even more of a premium," he said.
"So, it doesn't massively shock me that he could go for what Man City paid for him plus a bit more. £60m, let's say, £65m is not a big shock.
"I think that's broadly his market value. And I think it leaves City with an issue. It wouldn't have surprised me if he'd have stayed. And he still might, of course.
"I don't think it's that one that's the the big shock really. The big shock is the collective spending of Spurs, which is just utterly extraordinary."
