Man City told Everton will accept 'Jack Grealish plus £60m' for star man

Manchester City could use Jack Grealish to sweeten the deal in a summer move for Everton star Iliman Ndiaye.

That is according to former Man City financial adviser Stefan Borson, who exclusively told Football Insider that Grealish plus £60million should be enough to seal the swap deal.

The 30-year-old winger's future remains unclear, certainly after Enzo Maresca has used him in both of City's games at the start of the 2026-27 season.

He replaced Jeremy Doku in the Community Shield defeat to Arsenal before playing the final eight minutes of the 2-1 win over Bournemouth.

Since then, Sunderland and Aston Villa have joined the Toffees in the race for Grealish's signature ahead of the summer window slamming shut.

Football Insider understands that AC Milan are also admirers of the England international, but the player staying in the Premier League appears far more likely.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, Borson believes that there is a very real chance that Ndiaye and Grealish swap clubs this summer.

"It's definitely possible. I think what's happening now is we've got to the end of the window and there are very few options on the table," he said.

"There's a small number. Everton are obviously keen, but clearly want to pay as little as possible. They want City to subsidise it as much as possible.

"The Ndiaye situation would be a good solution for City, but it might not work for Everton. It would deliver them, let's say £60m, I would think, on top of Grealish.

"It's not a bad outcome, probably for them. It'll certainly a big profit. But it's late in the window."

Who else are interested in Everton's superstar?

It will be far from simple to get a deal across the line for Ndiaye before the window shuts, and not just because of a lack of replacement for Everton.

Multiple clubs have been keeping tabs on the 26-year-old, including Al Hilal and Manchester United, though the former's move completely collapsed.

Football Insider revealed earlier this month that Man United are "well-placed" to hijack a deal for the talented winger, which could still be the case.

Ndiaye is already off the mark this season, notching an assist in the 2-0 win over Crystal Palace in the Toffees' Premier League opener, but may not be featuring in Everton colours soon.
