Yan Diomande odds-on to complete move after Man City reveal
Real Madrid are odds-on favourites to secure the signing of RB Leipzig ace Yan Diomande this summer transfer window.
The 19-year-old winger has been linked with a host of clubs this summer from around Europe, including Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City.
However, reports have now indicated that the Gunners and the Citizens have gone quiet on Diomande after calls to check on the situation.
As a result, the door has now opened for Real Madrid to complete a move for the Ivory Coast international, and talks have begun between the two clubs over a potential summer move.
One bookmaker has now placed the Spanish giants’ odds of completing the deal at 1/2, making them the firm favourites to secure the signing.
Diomande played 33 matches in the Bundesliga last season, where he scored 12 goals and picked up eight assists.

The transfer saga surrounding Diomande has been ongoing for months after a sensational 2025-26 campaign.
Liverpool were once the favourites to secure his signature, but are now just 9/1 to get the deal done.
Man City and Arsenal then emerged as potential contenders, but Fabrizio Romano’s recent report indicates that both clubs may have now moved on to other targets.
In fact, City are 9/1 to complete a deal for the winger, while Arsenal are 16/1.
However, PSG remain in the race at 7/2 after they agreed personal terms with Diomande in June.
Nevertheless, it appears that the saga surrounding Diomande is finally set to conclude in the coming weeks.
Who could Man City sign instead?
Former senior Aston Villa scout Bryan King exclusively told Football Insider that Man City are in the race for PSG winger Ibrahim Mbaye.
The 18-year-old scored three goals and provided two assists for PSG last season but is reportedly pushing for an exit, with his contract due to expire in 2028.
Aston Villa were reportedly interested in the Senegal international, but City were deemed the favourites in the race by King.
However, it remains to be seen who Man City will look to bring into the club over the coming weeks as they aim to return the Premier League title to the Etihad Stadium.
