Man United make Bruno Fernandes 'transfer decision' as 'huge' bid suggested
Manchester United will not entertain offers for Bruno Fernandes in the closing stages of the summer transfer window.
The 31-year-old is a crucial part of Michael Carrick's ambitious plans for the new season, and the boss is determined to squash any speculation about his potential departue.
A number of clubs across Europe and the Middle East have expressed an interest in the attacking midfielder, with Galatasaray the latest, but they look set to miss out.
Former Man United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider that there is "absolutely no way" Fernandes will be allowed to leave Old Trafford this summer.
The Portugal international enjoyed a record-breaking season last time out after the shattered the Premier League assist record, and will play a key role again this term.
Despite speculation that a huge offer could be set to arrive from Turkey, alongside a potentially significant contract for Fernandes, his exit has been ruled out.

Brown told Football Insider last month that Carrick has been clear with the Man United board that Fernandes should not be sold under any circumstances ahead of the new season.
The boss is counting on the attacking midfielder to continue last season's form, and feels his performances will be crucial to any success they have.
Regardless of whether an offer arrives in the closing stages of the window, all parties remain focused on the task at hand, with Man United not willing to let Fernandes go.
"There is absolutely no way Fernandes will be allowed to leave Man United," Brown told Football Insider.
"A huge offer might come in from Galatasaray, Saudi Arabia or one of the other big clubs we've spoken about being interested, but that doesn't mean he will be let go.
"Fernandes is such an important part of this team, and Carrick and the board will know that selling him would be a catastrophic blow.
"It doesn't matter how much money is on the table, if you let your best player leave at this stage of the transfer window, you're just asking for trouble.
"So I don't see any way Man United will let him go, especially given how big of a role he will play under Carrick.
"Anything positive Man United do in the Premier League or Champions League this season, Fernandes will have a massive part to play in it."
How does Fernandes feel about leaving Man United?
Man United are determined to keep hold of Fernandes this summer, but with speculation ongoing about potentially huge contract offers, a lot could depend on the player.
The Portugal international's stance could make a difference to the club's resolve, and if he decides he wants to move on, it may prove difficult to keep hold of him.
However, Football Insider revealed back in March that Fernandes is happy at Man United, has enjoyed working under Carrick, and would be happy to continue at the club.
Sources at the time suggested the midfielder's future could depend on whether Carrick was handed the permanent job, and as he closes in on his first full season, Fernandes is happy to stay.
He is keen for to the club match his own ambitions in the game, and sources say that as long as they continue to show signs of improvement, he will be happy.
