Man United's updated Michael Carrick sack plan revealed
Man United have no plans to sack Michael Carrick over the international break, sources have told Football Insider.
Carrick has come under increasing pressure since the start of the campaign after a strong end to last season.
His impressive job in interim charge saw the Red Devils hand him the job full-time, yet rumours are circling that he could soon be relieved of his duties just four months after he signed a two-year contract.
United have won just two of their first seven games across all competitions and are sitting 12th in the Premier League during the first international break of the campaign.
As I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider's Transfer Insider podcast, their board has no plans to sack Carrick until he is given time to prove things right in the coming months.
The Red Devils host Tottenham in their next match on 10 October, then travel to Atletico Madrid for a Champions League clash three days later.

Carrick was given around £190million worth of new signings in the summer to improve his squad and their chances of competing at the top of the Premier League.
The 45-year-old remains safe in his job as it stands, but that stance may well change if their poor form continues.
Speaking on the Transfer Insider podcast, I explained: "It's been a struggle so far this year. There's no doubt that Michael Carrick is coming under increasing pressure with just two wins from seven games in all competitions
"It's been their joint-worst start to a Premier League season after five games, picking up just five points, but there's no panic at Old Trafford. I don't think there'll be any knee-jerk reactions over Michael Carrick's future.
Man United are 'very keen' on Fabian Hurzeler despite Carrick plans
While Carrick remains in charge for now, United are keeping an eye on potential replacements should they need to make a change in the dugout.
Sources have exclusively revealed to Football Insider that Brighton boss Hurzeler has admirers in the Old Trafford hierarchy and is high up on their shortlist as it stands.
Hurzeler's Seagulls sit third in the top flight right now after winning three of their first five league matches, with a 3-2 victory over United in the Carabao Cup last week too.
