Youri Tielemans was handed his non-competitive debut for Manchester United on Saturday as he came off the bench in their 1-1 draw against PSG.
The midfielder moved to the Red Devils last month for £35million after they activated his release clause at Aston Villa.
The 29-year-old is arguably United’s biggest signing of the summer so far after impressing at Villa for years and winning the Europa League last season.
On Saturday, Michael Carrick gave him his first run out in Man United colours, bringing him onto the field after 64 minutes.
Here, he did little wrong as the Belgium international helped see out a 1-1 draw against the Champions League holders.
Many of Tielemans’ stats were particularly impressive as the midfielder showed good signs ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.

Coming into Old Trafford with big expectations, Tielemans did not disappoint against PSG.
According to Fotmob on 8 August, he completed 100 per cent of his passes, created one chance, made one pass into the final third, made one tackle, completed five recoveries, and won 50 per cent of his ground duels at one.
Therefore, considering he was on the field for less than 30 minutes, it was a solid outing for the Belgium international.
Many of the Old Trafford faithful will be hopeful that Tielemans can now build on this performance going into the new campaign.

Manchester United are hunting for a long-term successor for Bruno Fernandes.
Now, Football Insider has exclusively revealed that Man United have not ruled out a move for Morgan Gibbs-White in future windows.
The 26-year-old has emerged as one of the best playmakers in the Premier League at Nottingham Forest, and was unlucky not to make the England squad this summer.
Man United have been touted to make a move for Gibbs-White, but they are not likely to due to Fernandes' status in their squad.
However, a move in future transfer windows has not been ruled out, with the midfielder only having two years left on his deal at present.
