'Terminate his contract' - Man United fans rage as Mason Mount training ground footage emerges
Mason Mount's latest injury appears to be a more pressing issue than first expected as new footage emerges from Carrington.
The 27-year-old missed Manchester United's last two games of pre-season against Leeds United and AC Milan, with the hope that he'd return soon.
However, just four days remain until Michael Carrick's side kick off their Premier League campaign against Hull City, and he's nowhere to be seen.
Before making a precautionary move to leave him out of the final pre-season preparations, Mount had played a key role next to Andrey Santos.
Despite suggestions that this could be his final summer at Old Trafford, there was hope that the former Chelsea man had turned his fortunes around.
Right now, that doesn't look to be the case, with a fresh update from the training ground showing, or rather not showing, Mount with the rest of the squad.

Importantly, Matthijs de Ligt and Benjamin Sesko returned, a huge boost for the Red Devils, but the England midfielder's injury could be far more serious.
Accusing the player of being "made of glass," one Man United fan stated that the club should "terminate his contract" ahead of the new season.
He made just 25 appearances in 2025-26, with just 12 of those coming as starts in the Premier League, the second-worst injury-plagued season of his career.
Who could line up against Hull City?
Supporters will be desperate to know how their team will line up in their first game of the season, even if it is against newly-promoted Hull.
Undoubtedly, Bruno Fernandes will be pulling the strings from the attacking midfield role, but those behind him will be just as important.
Following his £35million move from Aston Villa, Youri Tielemans is likely to at the base of midfield, but he won't be alongside Mount, it would appear.
Instead, his partern in crime could be Santos, while an unfit Kobbie Mainoo might just make the bench despite recovering from a back problem.
Other than academy products, options in the middle of the park are pretty scarce right now, especially Manuel Ugarte out for most of the season.
