Martin Keown: Tottenham must keep hold of this individual (not Alli)

Martin Keown believes that it’s crucial Tottenham keep hold of manager Mauricio Pochettino in the future.
The 45-year-old has become an extremely popular figure at White Hart Lane and has managed to help Spurs compete at the top-end of the Premier League table.
The north London club compete for the title last season before finishing third and are pushing Chelsea for the league crown this campaign.
Pochettino’s attacking philosophy has been loved by the Spurs supporters and his team’s are always set up defensively strong too.
He has managed to assemble a strong exciting squad, with star players Dele Alli, Harry Kane and Toby Alderweireld all regarded as some of the best in the division.

Ex-Arsenal defender Keown feels that keeping Pochettino at Spurs is just as important as managing to retain their star players during future transfer windows.
“Holding on to their manager will be just as important as holding on to this very good group of players,” Known said, as quoted by Match of the Day’s Twitter account.
Pochettino’s success at Spurs has not gone unnoticed and European giants Barcelona have been linked with a summer move for the manager.
Several of Spurs’ players have now become hot property after some impressive performances during the past couple of seasons.
Pochettino has been keen to build a youthful side, with the likes of Alli, Kane, Harry Winks, Eric Dier at the heart of their success.
The Argentinian boss is yet to win silverware with Spurs since his arrival in 2014, but there is a feeling that his side can go on to win a Premier League title in the near future.
He tasted defeat to Chelsea in the EFL Cup final in 2015 and may be looking for revenge when Spurs face the Blues in the FA Cup semi-final on April 22.
