Kevin Campbell has hailed Bukayo Saka as the “best” of the super-talented bunch of youngsters at Arsenal.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Gunners striker and father of Stoke City striker Tyrese Campbell has been blown away by Saka’s precocity.
The versatile left-sided ace, 19, has graduated from the Arsenal youth ranks to make 51 senior appearances and has already won his first England cap.
Campbell explained how it is Saka’s appetite for the big occasion and ability to deal with pressure that marks him out as a huge talent.
“I seriously believe in this kid,” the former Gunner star told Football Insider. “When you look at all of the talent that is coming through [at Arsenal], he is the best of that bunch. He is the best.
“Saka is never fazed by anything. Play for England? Not fazed. Play in a big game for Arsenal? Not fazed. He just goes about his business.
“The fact that he is a lefty also gives balance to the team. Having a couple of lefties in the
team makes the world of difference.
“I love Bukayo Saka. I am so glad that he has signed a new contract because I think that he has got a massive future ahead of him and it is at Arsenal.”
Saka signed a new Arsenal contract in July to put to bed speculation over his future after interest from the likes of Liverpool.
He has made eight appearances for Mikel Arteta’s side this season and played in a variety of midfield and attacking roles.
