Gabby Agbonlahor has claimed Ezgjan Alioski could make a decision on his Leeds United future immediately.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England forward suggested the 29-year-old will want to sort his future out before going on holiday after North Macedonia were knocked out of the European Championships.

Alioski is out of contract with the Whites at the end of the month.

However, he is yet to decide on his future but the Yorkshire Evening Post reported on Monday (21 June) Leeds have not given up hope of Alioski extending his stay at Elland Road.

Asked whether he will want to decide his future now North Macedonia have exited the Euros, Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: "Yes, I think so.

"Pre-season's around the corner so I'm sure he'll want to get signed up.

"Then he can get himself on holiday for a couple of weeks before he has to be back for pre-season.

"I don't think Bielsa is the sort of manager that will allow him to have too much extra time off pre-season training when the rest are back.

"I'm sure he'll go on holiday now for two or three weeks but sort his contract out before he goes. Then you can relax on your holiday and know where you are for next season."

Alioski featured in all but two Premier League games for Leeds last season.

He has 22 goals and 19 assists in 171 games for the Yorkshire giants across all competitions.
