Report: Agreement in place for Leeds 20-year-old as PL clubs circle
Leeds United have not received any bids for their talented young left-back Tom Pearce, according to a report.
LeedsLive claim that despite earlier reports to the contrary, Leeds have not had to bat away any official interest from Premier League sides in the 20-year-old.
Both Bournemouth and Everton have been credited with an interest in the player.
Pearce impressed in the tailend of last season after breaking through into the senior team.
And he made his international debut on Saturday in the 2018 Toulon Tournament with the England Under-21 squad.
LeedsLive also claim that Pearce has not yet signed his contract extension with Leeds, although there is an agreement in place that he will sign when he gets back into the country.

So despite earlier reports, the Pearce deal still isn't signed but it looks like it's been agreed and that should be done as soon as the left-back gets back from international duty. That's the main thing here. Obviously Leeds want to hang onto Pearce, but if he left with his contract expired, Leeds would only get a small compensation fee. This way, even if he does get his head turned by the Premier League, Leeds can name this price. Either option seems to have legs. If he does go then this contract extension would be paying Leeds back for giving him his big break. However, we think Pearce would be best served by staying at Elland Road for at least another season. he should be guaranteed to first-team football and that wouldn't be the case at either Bournemouth or Everton, the two Premier league sides that he's been linked with.
