Tottenham suffered another huge scare in the FA Cup after their much-changed side trailed 1-0 to Rochdale at half-time. It wasn't a fluke scoreline either – Rochdale played brilliantly in the first 45 and deserved their lead, even though Tottenham had their chances to score. The best of the bunch went to stand-in striker Fernando Llorente who has had a miserable time in his first season at Spurs. After a Heung-Min Son shot was blocked the ball fell to Llorente in the penalty area and he moved past one defender and slid the ball wide. This prompted Alan Sugar to take to Twitter and trash the striker, saying that even his grandma would have scored the chance.

Tottenham came out in the second half looking to save their blushes for the second time in two rounds. And they looked like they'd done it it with a goal from Lucas Moura on his full debut and a late penalty from Harry Kane. However, incredibly Rochdale came back from the dead with a late, late equaliser to send the game into a replay. In other Tottenham news,
