'Awful', 'Shocking', 'Sold in the summer' – Arsenal fans fume at display of 24-year-old v Chelsea

Arsenal fans were dismayed by the cameo performance of Sead Kolasinac, who came on in the last six minutes of the game and seemed totally off the pace. Arsenal booked their place at Wembley, beating Chelsea 2-1 after going behind to an Eden Hazard goal in the seventh minute. That was the last time their defence would be breached though and an own goal from Antonio Rudiger and a poacher's goal from Granit Xhaka meant Arsene Wenger will get another chance at silverware against Man City next month. Kolasinac is proving a mystery for Arsenal fans though. Signed from Shalke in the summer and arriving at the Emirates with an impressive reputation from the Bundlesliga, Kolasinac has struggled for game time under Wenger. He has made 18 Premier League appearances this season but has only started one in the last eight league games. Wenger threw him on to help close out the game on Wednesday night but he had fans watching through their fingers as he looked more a liability than an extra brick in the wall.
