Jadon Sancho assisted both goals in his side's win over Heidenheim in the Europa Conference League on Thursday night but failed to win over all Chelsea fans.

The winger moved to Stamford Bridge back in the summer transfer window, joining on a season-long loan following a tough spell at Man United with an obligation to buy if certain terms are met [Sky Sports].

Having featured regularly in the early stages of his loan, the 24-year-old then missed several games due to illness.

He eventually made his return to the starting XI during Thursday trip to Germany to face Heidenheim on 28 November in his first start for Chelsea in seven games, since the 2-1 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield on the 20th October.

And despite a pair of assists as Enzo Maresca's side eventually overcame the stubborn German hosts, fans were left infuriated by his lack of intent on many other occasions and reluctance to shoot, accusing him of slowing down the game too often.

Chelsea fans left frustrated by Jadon Sancho vs Heidenheim

On the whole, it was a successful night for Sancho and his team, as they picked up a 2-0 win that maintained their perfect record in the Conference League this season.

After a goalless first half, the winger played a significant part in that success as well, assisting both goals.

The first was a cross into the box that was controlled and finished by Christopher Nkunku, who had already missed a big chance of his own, before the England international teed up Mykhailo Mudryk to fire in a second late on.

And yet supporters felt he could have done so much more and were left bemoaning the fact that Chelsea look likely to end up paying Man United more for a permanent move.
