'Point to prove' – Danny Murphy raves about one Everton player in 3-1 win v Crystal Palace

Everton beat Crystal Palace 3-1 at home on Saturday, a result that moved them up to ninth place in the table.
It's a huge turnaround for the club under new manager Sam Allardyce after Ronald Koeman was sacked after a disastrous start to the season had left them fearing a relegation battle.
Saturday's result was never in doubt after Glyfi Sigurdsson scored Everton's first after 46 minutes and he was their standout performer, according to Danny Murphy.
Talking on BBC's Match of the Day (Saturday, 10.30pm) Murphy raved about the 28-year-old Iceland international.
"He's a great technician", Murphy said about the attacker.
"He's one of those players that makes things happen in the final third.
"He looked like he had a point to prove after being left out.
"He came in today and he was really, really good, and he grew in confidence."
Sigurdsson was left on the bench for the game against Arsenal, when his teammates were thrashed 5-1.
He was also left out for the game against Man United and Murphy obviously thinks that Allardyce's decisions have stung him into a reaction.
He's scored four goals in 24 games so far this season, after delivering nine in 38 for Swansea last campaign.
Everton's next league game is against Watford at Vicarage Park on February 24.
