Eric Dier cited as four Tottenham defenders to go - expert
Tottenham told to get rid of four defenders as Ange Posteoclgou targets new arrivals.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former Spurs and Aston Villa defender suggested players like Eric Dier, Davinson Sanchez, Japhet Tanganga and Ben Davies could all be on the way out.
Last week (10 July), Football Insider revealed that the Lilywhites eyeing up a move for Juventus defender Bremer, a player who figures highly on Postecoglou's wanted list.
The 26-year-old has been a long-term target for Spurs and the club were interested in him before he made the move to Juventus last summer.
Postecoglou is keen on adding Bremer alongside another central defender to his squad for next season.
But Hutton insisted players will need to be shipped out first.
"I think he will want more than one, I think he will want a couple [of defenders]," he told Football Insider.
"I think it has been a big problem for Tottenham, especially over the last season.
"There is a lot of players that have been there for a long period of time and have struggled. So it is probably about time they had a new challenge.
"Ange will obviously analyse his whole squad but I am sure he has got targets in mind of who he wants.
"For me, there is question marks of Dier, Sanchez, Tanganga, all of them. Even Davies, I think he has done well but is it time for him to move on?
"It is not all going to happen in one transfer window but he is going to have to move on players to bring his own targets in."
