Ex-Fifa referee swipes at Kyogo as Celtic 'headbutt' footage emerges
Keith Hackett has suggested Kyogo Furuhashi needs to be more honest as he tried to win Celtic a penalty in their 4-2 win over Dundee.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Fifa and Premier League referee delivered his verdict after footage of the incident at Dens Park went viral.
Twitter user shared @nosteviesouness shared a video of Kyogo's fracas with a Dundee defender in the penalty area and has been liked thousands of times.
The Celtic striker was left holding his head but did appear to headbutt the Dundee player.
He was withdrawn from the game shortly after seemingly clutching his shoulder and complaining of an injury.
As quoted by the Scottish Sun, Ange Postecoglou insisted the Japan international is "fine" and it was just a "bit of a knock".
After analysing the footage with Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley, Hackett said: "I'm not giving anything.
"I'm not seeing that as a slap. Look at the player, wow. I think players have got to stay positive in the game and not go hunting for things that are [not there].
"He's almost headbutted him, the Celtic player. He's gone headfirst.
"No, not a penalty, definitely not a penalty.
"It's a great excuse, you don't want to be subbed, what else can I do?"
Kyogo scored twice in the 4-2 win over Dundee as he took his tally for the season to 13 across all competitions.
The 26-year-old scored a hat-trick against Dundee earlier this season so half of his Scottish Premiership goals have come against the newly-promoted side.
