Exclusive: David Moyes' new stance on Everton return revealed
David Moyes would be keen on a return to Everton should Sean Dyche lose his job in the coming weeks, sources have told Football Insider.
Pressure on the Toffees boss has mounted after a slow start to the season, with tension growing after frustrating results at Goodison Park.
Heavy early season defeats against Brighton and Tottenham were followed by dramatic last-gasp losses against both Bournemouth and Aston Villa having gone two goals ahead.
Despite a 2-1 victory against Crystal Palace at Goodison Park last time out, the home supporters have grown impatient, and another run of poor form could see him dismissed.
Football Insider revealed on 17 September that the boss would be sacked if they suffered defeats against Leicester and Palace - but they have since taken four points from those two games.
Now, sources close to Moyes say he would be "very interested" in taking the job should it become available amid continued talk around Dyche's future.
Since his exit from West Ham, the boss has moved back up to Liverpool and would be prepared to step in should the board call upon him.

Sources have claimed that Dyche has plenty of credit in the bank at Goodison Park after the way he dealt with multiple difficult off-field incidents during his tenure.
With constant takeover discussions and negotiations ongoing, as well as two points deductions for financial breaches, the boss' management of the situation has been applauded.
However, growing pressure from the crowd as the fans continue to call for his head despite their recent victory, could force the club to make a decision.
Moyes remains a fans-favourite at Everton given the success he had during his spell at the club, and a potential return remains on the cards.
As things stand, Dyche is expected to retain the favour of the board, but a return to their early-season form could see the pressure become too much to ignore.
Graham Potter has also been tipped as a possible replacement, and Football Insider revealed he would be "very interested" in the move as the club begin to weigh up their options.
