Alan Hutton admits it is "no surprise" to hear that Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa wants to turn Jack Harrison's loan from Manchester City permanent.

The former Aston Villa and Scotland full-back, speaking exclusively to Football Insider assistant editor Russell Edge, insists that the winger fits the mould of the Argentine boss with his hard work out on the pitch.

Having come up against the Manchester City loanee while at Villa, Hutton says he can see why the Whites are keen to keep him on board if they return to the Premier League.

Hutton told Football Insider: "He's been excellent, played against him before as well and I think he's a really good player.

"It doesn't surprise me, he's definitely in that mould of the manager, the hard working, getting about people, he gives everything, always on the pitch.

"It doesn't surprise me that they're looking to keep him if they go up."

Harrison has established himself as a firm favourite of Bielsa over the last two seasons, with a total of 82 appearances across all competitions for Leeds.

He has improved his contribution in attack from last season, with five goals and seven assists under his belt this campaign.

In other Leeds United news, Noel Whelan has been left fuming with the club over the situation involving goalkeeper Kiko Casilla.
