Stoke City are set to battle with English and overseas clubs for the signing of Hamilton Academical striker Mickel Miller this summer, Football Insider can reveal.

The Scottish Premiership ace is out of contract this summer and appears to have suggested on his social media accounts that he is leaving the Accies.

A recruitment source has told Football Insider that Championship side Stoke City and League One pair Burton Albion and AFC Wimbledon are all weighing up moves for Miller.

His situation is also being monitored by German side Hamburg and Cypriot outfit Pafos.

Hamilton were keen on keeping on Miller by offering him a new deal, but he now looks set to move on in search of a new challenge.

Miller joined Hamilton from Carshalton Athletic in January 2018 and has made a real impact in Scotland, scoring 12 goals and supplying eight assists in 68 matches for the club.

The versatile forward, who can play anywhere across the front line, made 16 league starts among 26 appearances in the recently completed Scottish season.

They yielded four of those goals as well as three of the assists.

Several sides tried to sign the versatile attacker during the January transfer window, including Hibernian after they lost Florian Kamberi on loan to Rangers.

The free agent is now weighing up his options following the completion of the Scottish Premiership campaign.
