West Ham boss Julen Lopetegui is confident Michail Antonio will add value to his side for the upcoming season, sources have told Football Insider.

Antonio, 34, is in the final year of his contract at the London Stadium and has been linked with a potential move away from the London Stadium in recent months.

But it is believed the Jamaica international is in no rush to depart West Ham as he is on a good deal at the club after joining back in 2015.

Sources say West Ham won't entertain offers for Antonio unless a bid which is "too good to turn down" arrives.

Lopetegui still feels Antonio has something to give in the 2024-25 campaign despite his advancing years and injury record.

West Ham will only accept big-money Antonio bid

The 34-year-old made 32 appearances across all competitions last term but missed a big spell mid-season with a knee injury.

Antonio notched seven goals and two assists in those outings.

He is West Ham's top scorer in the Premier League era with 67 goals in 254 games in the top flight.

Lopetegui's side are hoping to finalise the capture of Aston Villa star Jhon Duran before the transfer cut-off on 31 August.

Football Insider revealed last week (26 July) that Duran has now agreed to a £90,000-a-week deal with the London side.
