'He's always been fabulous' - Danny Mills drools over 'Exceptional' man secret to Villa revival

Danny Mills has hailed Aston Villa assistant manager John Terry as the secret behind the club's stunning end-of-season transformation.
Terry re-joined the Midlands giants as number two to Dean Smith when he was appointed the successor to Steve Bruce last October.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, ex-England defender Mills explained why the former England and Chelsea captain has been a huge influence behind the scenes.
Villa have won 10 of their last 11 league match to fly up the Championship table and secure a place in the play-offs for a second consecutive season.
Asked about the secret behind Villa's resurgence, Mills said: "I think they’ve got a good manager, good coaching staff, good experience as well. John Terry, what he did as a player he’s taken into being a coach.
"He was always a leader on the pitch – exceptional. Some people don’t like him for his off-the-field activities at times but you know, Chelsea fans loved him and (he’ll) always be loved.
"You don’t get that title – captain, leader, legend – for no reason at all. He’s always been fabulous with me, I’ve never had any issues, whatsoever, he’s always been helpful, been pleasant. Ever needed anything, advice or a signed shirt for charity, he’s always been the first to put his hands up and say here you go and help out.
"Clearly he wants to be a manager, you can see what he’s doing on the coaching side of it. He’s very, very dedicated to what he wants to do. All those things – they’ve got some good players in there as well – it’s a big club, good players, experienced manager, experienced coaching
staff in terms of playing - been there, done that, to give that sort of advice to younger players and haven’t been there, is vital."
Terry initially joined Villa in the summer of 2017 ahead of a highly successful final season in his playing career that ended with defeat in the play-off final.
