Everton manager Sam Allardyce has confirmed that Leighton Baines and Seamus Coleman will be back in the squad for the clash with Burnley on Saturday lunchtime.

It's a huge boost for Everton after Baines has missed the last 15 games with a calf injury.

Seamus Coleman missed the 1-0 defeat to Watford with a thigh strain after missing the whole of the first half of the season with a fracture.

Allardyce was talking in his pre-match press conference ahead of the Saturday game, due to be broadcast on Sky Sports.

There was some bad news too though, with news that loanee Eliaquim Mangala will likely miss the rest of the season after undergoing surgery.

Man City have told Everton that they would like his rehab to be done at Goodison and Allardyce has said that is what they will do.

Everton are currently in ninth in the Premier League, with Saturday's opponents Burnley flying high in seventh.

Just three points separates the two sides although Everton won't leapfrog them with a win as they have a vastly inferior goal difference.
