Ianis Hagi in talks to join new club after Rangers source's reveal - expert
Ianis Hagi has already opened talks with multiple clubs about a move away from Rangers before the transfer deadline on 30 August.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former Scotland forward Frank McAvennie insisted Hagi and his father are already speaking to different clubs about the possibility of a deal this summer.
It was said that given the weight and value his name carries, clubs would be keen to explore a deal after he became available.
This comes after Football Insider revealed that Rangers have told Hagi, as well as Alex Lowry and Adam Devine, to find a new club this summer.
A lack of first-team opportunities in recent seasons and a mixed loan spell at Alaves have meant the Romanian no longer has a place in Philippe Clement's squad.
He has two years remaining on his current deal at Ibrox, but Rangers will look to raise some money from his sale while he still has some value.

Hagi joined Rangers in 2020 but has made just 99 appearances for the club in four years, largely due to a major injury suffered in 2022 which required surgery.
That blow kept him out for over a year, and upon his return, the effects of that injury became apparent as he struggled to make an impact.
Now, with no first-team opportunities on the way, McAvennie has insisted it is time for him to leave Ibrox in search of game time, while a sale will help the club raise funds.
"Well, he's been in and out of the team for a while," he told Football Insider.
"His dad was making statements saying all sorts of things. I think he'll go.
"When you get players like him coming from abroad, you need to give them a run of games and he hasn't been given that at Rangers.
"He's been playing one or two games then getting dropped and that's not good for footballers.
"I think Hagi will go, and his dad's probably already on the phone speaking to other clubs because he's so well-known. Everyone will want to speak to him about it.
"I think he'll leave, and they need to sell him. Rangers supporters know that, and it's awful."
