Insider: Rangers win race to sign prolific youngster from Liverpool
Rangers have won the race to sign 21-year-old winger Harry Wilson on loan from Liverpool, according to an Insider.
The Four Lads Had a Dream blog, a solid source of Rangers news, added on Sunday night that the deal was "extremely close" to being completed.

There was a lot of talk when Gerrard took over as manager of Rangers that his Liverpool links would pay dividends in Scotland, and this looks like being the first deal that he completes. Wilson is an undoubted talent who spent the second half of last season on loan at Hull, where he scored seven goals and added four assists in just 13 games. His promise has been recognised by his country and he's played the last two games for Wales, scoring in the first of them. We think he could be huge for Rangers, but he will be expected to play regularly. This could be the first real test of Gerrard's regime though – getting youngsters like this up to speed and managing both the situation at Rangers and the expectations of the parent club. It's a real coup though, no question.
