Juventus have paid tribute to the splendour of West Ham's new stadium on Twitter following their 3-2 victory over the Hammers on Sunday.

A late Simone Zaza goal cancelled out an Andy Carroll double as the Serie A champions won the prestigious pre-season friendly at the Olympic Stadium 3-2.

Juventus paid tribute to West Ham on their official Twitter account in the aftermath of the match and congratulated them on their new home as well as wishing them well for the new campaign.

Carroll scored twice for the Hammers to help them recover from 2-0 down, before Zaza scored in the closing minutes to secure the win for the visitors.

His second goal was captured by BT Sports cameras, whtweeted this clip of him powerfully heading Mark Noble's cross past Italian great Gianluigi Buffon in the Juve net.

Carroll will be hoping to continue the form he produced at the end of last season, which included a memorable hat-trick against Arsenal in April.

Despite his form towards the end of 2015-16 campaign, Carroll missed out on a call-up to the England squad that flopped miserably at Euro 2016.

West Ham have made it clear they are in the market for a new striker to spearhead their assault on this season's Premier League, but have thus far been unsuccessful.
