Leeds United fans took to Twitter to express their fears that Samuel Saiz and Pontus Jansson will quit the club in the summer. Playmaker Saiz and centre-back Jansson are widely regarded as United's two outstanding players and demonstrated their class in Wednesday's 2-2 Championship draw against Derby County. The Sweden international produced another resolute performance as he held the back line together at Pride Park, where Leeds twice led but ultimately failed to secure their first win since Boxing Day. Saiz was not named in the starting XI after serving a six-match suspension but was summoned from the substitute's bench after 55 minutes as a replacement for Kemar Roofe and produced a delightful cameo as he showed fans what they have missed. With Leeds eight points off the final play-off spot with 13 matches of the Championship season remaining, their chances of ending their spell in the lower league doldrums are evaporating. Supporters took to social media to express their conviction that Leeds will be forced to cash in on Jansson and Saiz, just as they were with Chris Wood last summer.
