Leeds suffered another loss under Paul Heckingbottom last night, although the 1-0 scoreline at Villa Park wasn't as bad as a lot of people had feared.

One player came in for a huge amount of criticism though – striker Caleb Ekuban, who has now scored just one goal in 18 Championship games.

The 24-year-old had another poor display last night but Heckingbottom persists in playing him, hopeful he can find his feet before the end of the season.

That didn't happen last night and after Lewis Grabban put the home side ahead in the 29th minute, Leeds rarely looked like getting back into the game.

Ekuban was taken off at half-time and Samu Saiz was introduced, but even he couldn't inspire them back into the game.

Leeds fans will be wondering how many more chances Ekuban is going to get, although unless he resorts to youth, Heckingbottom doesn't have that many options with neither Jay-Roy Grot or top-scorer Pierre-Michel Lasogga looking like scoring either.

It's a real problem that desperately needs addressing in the summer but in the meantime Leeds fans took to Twitter to destroy Ekuban.

Here are the best reactions to his latest shocking display for Leeds:
