Scenes, Would be immense – Leeds fans react to speculation two players could join this summer

A career in print magazines that included editing PC Zone, launching PokerPlayer and redesigning The Big Issue has finally led Dave to writing about the love of his life, Leeds United. It’s been a tough 2020 but the single scariest moment was the first quarter of the game against Man City. Rodrigo will be the saviour this season.

Leeds fans waited patiently for the appointment of new manager Marceloa Beilsa and now that he's in place their attention has turned squarely to new recruits.

Lots of players have been linked with Leeds but there are two names that fans are especially excited about – Tottenham's Juan Foyth and Man City youngster Phil Foden.

Bielsa has links with both City's Pep Guardiola and Tottenham's Mauricio Pochettino - who called the Leeds manager his "football father" – and fans are hoping that these can lead to their side landing two hugely exciting young players.

Leeds fans are particularly excited about the possibility of Foden joining from Man City.

The 18-year-old made five cameo appearances for City in the Premier League last season but would struggle for meaningful game-time again this season at the Etihad.

Foyth is a hugely talented centre-back who is being groomed for stardom in north London by Pochettino after his £12million summer transfer from Estudiantes.
