'Knocking on the door of the first team' - Leeds fans demand 6ft 2in teen fast-tracked from U23s

Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to call for Sam Dalby to be promoted from the Under-23s into the first team squad.
United's development side continued their impressive run with a convincing 3-0 home win over their Championship rivals Cardiff City at Thorp Arch on Friday afternoon.
Dalby opened the scoring with a towering first-half header from Jack Clarke's free kick and substitute Clarke Odour and midfielder Madgar Gomes increased the home side's advantage after the break.
Dalby scored twice in Leeds Under-23s 3-2 win over Ipswich Town on Monday and has now netted five times in seven matches for the age-group side, who have won four consecutive matches.
He has made a big impact United in the January window for a fee of around £250,000 from Leyton Orient.
Now many United fans are calling for manager Paul Heckingbottom to fast-track him into the senior XI following recent promotions for fellow academy products Bailey Peacock-Farrell and Tom Pearce.
