Leeds United fans are convinced Max Wober will leave the club in the coming days after he missed out on the 2-0 win v Sheffield Wednesday.

Daniel Farke's side cruised to a comfortable victory against their Yorkshire rivals at Hillsborough, but the Austrian played no part as he was not named in the matchday squad.

He had missed training through a minor injury which likely kept him out of the squad - but fans are insisting he will leave the club before 30 August.

Anger at Wober has been bubbling since he returned from a loan spell at Borussia Monchengladbach, where he spent a year following Leeds' relegation to the Championship.

Fans were left raging at each player who left Elland Road last summer, and have continued to display their frustration to the returning players: Wober and Brendan Aaronson.

Unlike Wober, Aaronson's performances upon his return are beginning to win over the supporters, ramping up the pressure on his teammate to step up.

After a disappointing performance in the cup, and having missed out on the Wednesday win, fans are demanding he leave before the transfer window closes.

Many are now expecting him to make the move away from Elland Road, with his exclusion from the matchday squad taken as a sign.

Others, meanwhile, are calling for his departure given the level of his performances so far this season.
