Ojie Evaria made his Liverpool debut on Tuesday night - and fans took to Twitter to commend his cameo display.

The 18-year-old midfielder was handed his first competitive appearance against Derby in the EFL Cup as Jurgen Klopp's side won 3-0 to secure a smooth passage to the last-16 of the competition.

Klopp made seven changes from the team that won 2-1 at Chelsea on Friday night, a match in which Ejaria was an unused substitute.

Ejaria was once again on the bench at the iPro Stadium but was given his chance after 78 minutes when he replaced Roberto Firmino in the team.

Supporters were delighted that Klopp had given some game time to the teenager, who has made huge strides since joining Liverpool from Arsenal in 2014.
