Manager Mauricio Pochettino has told Tottenham fans that the players are all "very calm" at the club following speculation surrounding the future of star Kyle Walker.

There has been a growing doubt regarding where the 26-year-old's future lies with the player dropped from important clashes against Chelsea and Arsenal in the past month.

Now although Pochettino refused to outright dismiss what he calls "rumours," he has said in his press conference on Thursday, as quoted by journalist Ben Pearce on his personal Twitter account that "it’s important that our fans know that here it’s all really calm."

Walker has been a part of the Tottenham team for eight years now after joining from Sheffield United in the summer of 2009 in a combined £9million deal alongside Kyle Naughton.

He has exceeded expectations at the club and has starred in a massive 227 matches for the north London side and only in September did he agree a new five-year deal taking him up to 2021.
