The FA Premier league has awarded Tottenham's second goal in the game against Stoke to Harry Kane and it puts him right back in the hunt for the Golden Goal.

Following the game, with the goal officially given to Christian Eriksen, Kane wouldn't let it go, eventually swearing on his daughter's life that it touched him.

The dubious goals committe have sided with him and it means that he's one closer to Salah, with 25. Salah is still leading the way with 29.

The news was posted on the official Premier League Twitter account of Wednesday afternoon.

Shortly after, Salah posted a tweet himself in response and it was hilarious.

Football Insider verdict:

You couldn't ask for a better battle at the top of the Premier League scoring charts, and Salah's Twitter game is almost as good as his striking. Kane wants it so badly it's brilliant. But Salah knows it's his to lose, even with one game less to play than Kane. That goal helps Kane a lot and if it's the difference at the end of the season, this tweet will be pulled out and replayed to Salah over and over. Fans love it though, with the tweet currently at 5,200 retweets and counting. And fans saying that he's the GOAT and a "legend". We'd go along with that.
