'Never want to see him again', 'Awful' - Newcastle fans slam 24-yr-old display in loss v Watford
Newcastle United fans have slammed Javier Manquillo for his performance in the 2-1 defeat to Watford at Vicarage Road on Saturday.
Manquillo, 24, was picked to start his first Premier League game since the 3-1 defeat at Manchester City in mid-January, and many fans could see why he had been sat on the bench for so long when his poor defending led to Watford opening the scoring in the second minute when Roberto Pereyra scored.
The Spanish full-back was never going to be the most popular signing at St James' Park when he arrived from Atletico Madrid last summer off the back of a relegation campaign on loan at Sunderland.
He was a mainstay of Rafa Benitez's first-team until January when members of the squad were welcomed back from injury, but he was back in the team this weekend, but his performance left the Toon Army wishing that he would leave in the summer.
One angry Newcastle fans claimed he never wants to see him play for the club again.

Manquillo has made 23 appearances in all competitions for Newcastle this season.
He has been used at both right-back and left-back by Benitez, who really struggled with his full-back options in the first half of the campaign.
