Nottingham Forest supporters have voiced a frustrated range of opinions as Steve Cooper has been announced as the new Leicester City manager, many with bitterness towards their ex-boss.

Cooper, who guided Forest back to the Premier League in 2022, spent just over two years as manager at the City Ground - and has now been officially unveiled just 22 miles away at the King Power Stadium.

Some are finding it hard to come to terms with the Welshman's short move across the East Midlands.

Nottingham Forest fans react angrily to Cooper move to Leicester

Some Forest supporters are holding little goodwill to their former chief.

Cooper replaces Enzo Maresca at the King Power on a contract until 2027, and Football Insider reported on 10 June that fans were already beginning to react badly to the initial talk of his move.

It's sure to be a lively meeting between the two sides on October 26 in the Premier League.
