Celtic have been installed as the second favourites to sign Rangers star man Alfredo Morelos, according to the latest bookmakers' odds.

Bet Victor priced the Scottish champions at 10/1 on Tuesday morning to prise the Colombian hothead from Ibrox before the summer transfer window shuts in August.

Celtic are behind only Premier League club Leicester City, who are 8/1 favourites to land Morelos, while Everton (12/1), West Ham (16/1) and Southampton (20/1) also figure prominently in the betting.

Celtic are likely to be in the market for at least one striker this summer despite recruiting three forwards, two of them on loan deals, in the January window.

It would represent a massive shock if they made a move to sign Morelos, and an even bigger one if the Rangers star made a cross-city transfer.

The Colombian tops the Scottish goal charts with 29 goals this season but his reputation took a major dent with his fifth red card of the campaign in Sunday's 2-1 Old Firm triumph for Celtic.
