Liverpool fans have reacted with excitement to the next that Thomas Lemar has refused a new contract extension at Monaco.

reports that Liverpool remain his first choice after rejecting a new deal, after Liverpool made a £78million bid for him in 2017 The report claims that Liverpool are monitoring the situation and that Klopp is likely to go back in in the summer for the dazzling attacker. They also say that Liverpool is his favoured destination and Liverpool fans are delighted with the news. One fan said that it seemed "inevitable" that Lemar would join while another said if they didn't sign him it would be on FSG. Another fan was already welcoming him to Anfield after hearing the news. Lemar was also said to be of interest to Arsenal and Man City but it seems like Liverpool are in pole position to secure another incredible attacking force.
