West Ham manager David Moyes will axe Sebastien Haller for the trip to Sheffield United on Sunday, according to Paul Robinson.

The former England number one, speaking exclusively to Football Insider correspondent Dylan Childs, expects the Hammers' "best player", Michail Antonio, to replace the 26-year-old at Bramall Lane.

Club-record signing Haller was chosen to lead the line in Antonio's absence but failed to score in the loss at Liverpool or the victory over Fulham.

Antonio has scored 11 goals in his last 13 Premier League appearances and has emerged as David Moyes's preferred centre-forward option this year.

When asked by Football Insider who he expected to start up top against the Blades this weekend, Robinson said: "When Antonio is fully fit he goes straight back in.

"I wouldn't say that Haller hasn't taken his chance but Antonio gives you a lot more. His all round game is better.

"Antonio got to a different level this season. He has been their best player and he deserves to go back in.

"There is certain players who you need in your starting eleven and he is one of them.

"Regardless of who was playing and how well they were playing if he is fit he comes back in because he has been that good this season."
