Rangers fans have reacted with delight after Jordan Rossiter returned to action for the club in the Under-20s game against Valencia on Monday morning. He skippered his side to a 1-0 win in Spain and, more importantly, came through the fixture unscathed. The 20-year-old midfielder moved from Liverpool on a free transfer in the summer of 2016 but picked up a calf injury in the early part of the 2016/17 season that kept him out of action for the remainder of that campaign. He made a return at the start of this season but the injury flared up again and this is his first match since his return. Rangers fans are delighted to see him back in action, with one saying that he could become the "bedrock of our team". Another said that getting him back fit would be key to this season and that he sees him as one of the first names on the team sheet. Here is a selection of the best reactions from Rangers fans:
