Tottenham would strengthen their chances of finally lifting the Premier League trophy by bringing a rejuvenated Nacer Chadli back to north London this summer.

The Telegraph claims the 27-year-old attacker has fallen out with West Brom manager Tony Pulis after disagreeing over the club's pre-season trip to Austria.

Former Stoke City manager Pulis is known for his tendency to take his squad running up the Austrian hills at 5am, but Chadli did not want to be a part of such routine.

Instead, the former Spurs ace has remained at home and is working on his own fitness regime in order to be match ready for the first game of the season.

Football Insider believes Tottenham should take advantage of the hostility between Pulis and Chadli by luring the former FC Twente attacker back to Spurs this summer.

Here are three reasons why, including the future of a 52-time international after a disappointing 2016-17 season in the white of Tottenham:

PL form when given a chance

Chadli decided to end his stay with Spurs after failing to earn regular game time from the off, and has instead done exactly that with Premier League rivals West Brom.

Starring in their attack, the Belgian has scored five goals as well as turning provider another five times in 31 league encounters.

Proving a constant threat and offering danger from the flank has made Tottenham rue their decision to sell him and buying him back would prove a top bit of business.

Still held in high regard

Spending three years with Spurs, Chadli clocked up a huge 119 league and cup appearances as well as building a strong rapport with the White Hart Lane support.

However, the attacker managed to start just 72 of those matches and he decided to move on to pastures new; a decision largely accepted by fans as some felt he deserved more chances in the starting eleven.

Still thought of highly by the Spurs faithful, a move back to his former side would go down well with fans in a move that would boost Pochettino's chances of finally finishing at the top of the pile.

Sissoko - future with Spurs?

Signed a for a huge £30million last summer, former Newcastle ace Sissoko has not hit the heights expected of him when first putting pen to paper with the London Club.

Making 34 appearances in all competitions, the Euro 2016 runner-up failed to find the back of the net and managed only four assists with the likes of Christian Eriksen and Son Heung-Min above him in the pecking order.

Chadli would prove a much better attacker to turn to with Spurs set to compete in four different competitions next season, if Pochettino can convince West Brom's number 22 to return to north London.
