Celtic will secure treble again if they sign 55-time international reportedly set to quit PL club, three reasons why
COMMENT By Will Butcher
Brendan Rodgers would see his Celtic side secure another treble in Scotland next season if he can win the race to sign Bournemouth attacker Max Gradel.
The Daily Mail claim the 29-year-old is interesting a whole host of clubs including relegated Championship side Sunderland as well as Ligue 1 outfit Toulouse, and is now set to leave.
Sunderland boss Simon Grayson worked with the 55-time Ivory Coast international during his time as manager of Leeds, where Gradel played for two years between 2009 and 2011.
However, his future at the Vitality Stadium looks all but over after making just 13 league and cup appearances last season for the Cherries.
Celtic are still in with a shout of qualifying for the Champions League if they can beat Rosenborg in Norway, and will need to make top-quality additions if they do reach the group stages.
Football Insider considers how the former St. Etienne attacker would be the perfect signing on Parkhead, including how he would be a major improvement on this 26-year-old:

Likely to be cheaper than Bournemouth outlay
Bournemouth paid Ligue 1 outfit St. Etienne a huge £10million for the speed machine two years ago, but his time on the south coast has been marred by injury.
In his first season, the fleet-footed winger ruptured his cruciate ligament and has since struggled to prove his worth worth.
Now, Gradel is likely to be available for much less than the eight-figures Bournemouth paid for him in 2015 and if he is allowed to leave for half of that, then he would prove a bargain.

Roberts replacement
Patrick Roberts was in explosive form for Celtic last season while on loan with Manchester City, scoring 11 times and adding 19 assists during the Hoops' treble-winning season.
However, with no permanent deal on the horizon, Rodgers must look to bring in a replacement that has shone at the top level and can be relied upon to impress.
Step forward Gradel, who is known as a Championship expert following his days in the Football League with Leicester and Leeds.

Forrest not good enough
Speed machine Forrest has shown plenty of times just how good he can be, but consistency is a problem.
The 26-year-old seems only capable of being able to show in glimpses his quality, with his performance against Rosenborg on Wednesday night frustrating from a Celtic point of view.
Being replaced by Gradel would see the Hoops massively improve their level of threat from the right flank, and would give Rodgers' side a better chance against European opponents.
