Celtic are set to continue their left-side overhaul by listening to offers for Boli Bolingoli after offloading Jonny Hayes.

The 32-year-old, who joined the Scottish champions in a £1m transfer from Aberdeen in 2017, confirmed his departure in an Instagram post last night.

A Celtic source has told Football Insider that Bolingoli is also in line to depart if the club get an offer that matches their asking price.

That is unlikely to be more than the £3million they spent signing him from Rapid Vienna last summer.

Bolingoli, 24, began the season as first choice and recovered from an iffy start before a wretched display in the end-of-year 2-1 derby defeat to Rangers pushed him down the pecking order.

Lennon subsequently put his faith in Greg Taylor and even preferred the versatile Hayes to Bolingoli.

Tellingly, the Belgian's only senior action since the new year has come in the Scottish Cup against Clyde.

Taylor had emerged as the first choice left-back or left wing-back before the lockdown that led to the season being terminated early.

He is set to stay on and fight for his place next season, with at least one senior player coming in for that position.
