Lucas Moura faces being the odd man out as Jose Mourinho plans his best attacking combination for Tottenham in their Premier League showdown against Man United next week.

The Spurs boss will be able to call upon Harry Kane, Son Heung-Min and Steven Bergwijn, who were all sidelined with long-term injuries before the lockdown.

A Tottenham source has told Football Insider the trio are all fully fit and primed to go straight into the starting XI for the 8.15pm kick-off on Friday of next week.

Dele Alli has been ruled out of the match as he serves a one-match suspension over a post on social media about coronavirus.

But Moura could still miss out if Mourinho, as seems likely, opts for a 4-3-3 formation with three midfielders.

Much will depend upon the manager's game plan and the fitness of his first-team stars and how they shape up over the next week.

But chief goal threats Kane and Son will slot straight back into the team if they are in top condition.

It could then be a straight shoot-out between £27million January signing Bergwijn, who is recovered from a serious ankle injury, and Moura.

The Brazilian has started almost every match since Mourinho took charge and the two have developed a close working relationship.

The manager admires his pace and ability to break down defences but his goals and assists record pale into comparison with Kane and Son.

Crucially, Moura is at his most effective on the right flank, a position earmarked for the South Korea sensation.

Moura has made 18 league starts among 39 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring seven goals and supplying three assists.

Since Mourinho's arrival, he has netted just five time in 26 matches, two of those coming in the FA Cup.
