Leicester City and Brentford have joined the chase for Middlesbrough and Leeds United centre-forward target Ali Reghba, Football Insider sources understand.

Reghba, who plays for League of Ireland side Bohemians, has just completed a two-week trial at Middlesbrough and he is thought to have impressed during his stint on Teesside.

However, in a Premier League twist, 2016 champions Leicester have now expressed an interest to Bohemians to take the highly-rated forward on trial so that the can cast an eye over the teenager at close quarters.

Leeds are also keeping tabs on Reghba, but Football Insider sources understands they have yet to ask to take the teenager on trial.

News of Leicester's interest will come as a major blow to Middlesbrough, Leeds and Brentford as the Foxes will be hoping the chance to play in the Premier League will be enough to persuade Reghba to snub offers from other clubs.

Reghba emerged on the radar of a number of clubs in England after scoring two goals on his debut for Bohemians in September and the 18-year-old has also caught the eye on international duty with the Republic of Ireland's Under-19s.
