Liverpool's star attacker Mohamed Salah thinks that Tottenham striker Harry Kane will win his third consecutive Golden Boot this season. The two strikers are currently battling it out at the top of the scoring charts after Salah's incredible run of form. Kane currently has 22 goals from 25 games and Salah has one less, with 21 after playing the same number of league games. However, as quoted by the Independent on its Twitter account, Salah believes that Kane will have more chances to score playing at number nine. "He is a great player, in the last two years he has already been the top scorer. "Kane plays as a number nine and has more chances to score than me." Salah went on to say that he wants to win the Golden Boot but he will just have to see what happens.

Football Insider verdict:

21 goals in 25 games is a phenomenal achievement for Mohamed Salah - way more than even manager Jurgen Klopp would have expected after signing the player. However, he's unlucky in that he's come up against a top socrer like Kane whi is also in the form of his life. Neither player can seemingly stop scoring, but Salah is right... As Tottenham's sole striker, Kane will have more chances to score than Salah.
