Antonio Conte will take Tottenham training tomorrow after agreeing to become the club’s new manager, Football Insider can exclusively reveal.

The Spurs players were informed by senior club chiefs at 1.30pm today that the Italian is heading in straight away to take over.

A Tottenham source has told Football Insider that Conte will take charge of training tomorrow morning at their Hotspur Way headquarters.

Terms have been agreed with the Premier League-winning boss in what amounts to a remarkable coup.

The Londoners announced earlier this morning that Nuno Espirito Santo had been sacked after just four months in charge.

The players have been told that Conte "is coming" and he is set to be joined by a new-look coaching staff.

The move represents a huge win for Spurs, who pursued the ex-Chelsea boss in the summer before negotiations collapsed.

Conte has been out of work since parting ways with Inter Milan at the end of last season.

The Italian manager was known to be interested in replacing under-fire Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

However, it is Spurs who will be now managed by the serial winner.

Conte has won the title at all three of the clubs he's previously managed.

Spurs face Vitesse Arnhem on Thursday in what is set to be Conte's first game in charge.
