Fulham are in the box seat to sign Chelsea star Callum Hudson-Odoi this summer, sources have told Football Insider.

It is believed the Blues are keen to move the 22-year-old on in the final month of the window.

Hudson-Odoi is also open to finding a new club for the 2023-24 campaign after a stagnation in his once-promising career.

He is ready to leave Stamford Bridge with one year remaining of his reported £180,000-a-week contract.

Hudson-Odoi spent the 2022-23 campaign out on loan at Bayer Leverkusen - his first spell away from Chelsea.

However, the winger struggled to make an impact for Xabi Alonso's side - notching just one goal and one assist in 21 appearances in all competitions.

The loan came after he suffered a serious Achilles tendon injury at the back end of the 2021-22 season.

Hudson-Odoi, who came through the ranks at Chelsea, has managed 16 goals and 22 assists in 126 outings for the club.

However, he has never managed to establish himself as a regular starter at Stamford Bridge.

The 22-year-old penned his lucrative current contract in 2019 as Chelsea moved to fend off strong interest from Bayern Munich.

Hudson-Odoi, who has earned three caps for England after making his debut in 2019, can play on both flanks and as an attacking midfielder.

Fulham

Fulham have re-signed former Chelsea star Willian after he impressed on a short-term deal last season.

Meanwhile, Andreas Pereira is expected to miss the start of the new season after suffering a broken ankle late in the 2022-23 campaign.
