Attacker must be axed: Three things learned about Celtic in win v Morton
COMMENT
Celtic defeated Morton 3-0 in the Scottish Cup quarter-final at Celtic Park to book their place in Sunday's semi-final draw.
The Hoops didn't turn in the best performance in the match, but did enough to get through thanks to two goals from Moussa Dembele and one from sub Odsonne Edouard.
The match also saw Marvin Compper make his Hoops debut at long last, as he replaced Mikael Lustig in the only change from the side which defeated Aberdeen last week.
Hoops manager Brendan Rodgers will be quite pleased with the performance, particularly that of Edouard, who turned the game on its head in the second-half with an all-action performance.
Dembele's form continues to improve and James Forrest also did well.
All eyes will now look ahead to next Sunday's Old Firm clash, where a win for the Hoops at Ibrox would all but guarantee a seventh consecutive title for the Bhoys.

EDOUARD CHANGES THE GAME
The 20-year old French striker Odsonne Edouard replaced the ineffective Scott Sinclair at half-time and immediately missed two great chances to open the scoring.
He did cause the Morton players all kind of trouble with his strength which won the Hoops a penalty which killed the game off.
He got a deserved goal of his own in the 90th minute, and with this performance he will have played himself into contention for the Old Firm derby next Sunday, he could pose the Rangers defence plenty of problems

SINCLAIR STRUGGLES ONCE AGAIN
Scott Sinclair's recent run of poor form continued, as the winger was deservedly replaced at half-time after contributing very little to the game.
His fall from grace has been incredible, when you consider that he is still the Hoops' top scorer and the reigning player of the year.
That matters for nothing now however, and it would be a major surprise if the attacker started in the Old Firm derby as Rodgers must axe him.

COMPPER STROLLS THROUGH DEBUT
After being out for weeks with an injury, Hoops January signing Marvin Compper finally made his long-awaited debut for the Bhoys.
Aside from a stray pass in the opening moments, the 32-year-old strolled through the match with a minimum of fuss, showing all of his experience
Of course, he will have far busier matches ahead for the Hoops, but it wouldn't be at all surprising if Compper started the Old Firm derby, Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers seems to have plenty of faith in the player
In other Celtic news, the Hoops have been linked with Wigan midfielder Nick Powell
