Ross Turnbull and Toumani Diagouraga are set to follow Luke Murphy out of the Leeds exit door during the January window, according to a reliable journalist.

The central midfielder is set to be joined through the Elland Road departure gate by two senior colleagues who have fallen out of favour since Garry Monk was appointed manager.

Yorkshire Evening Post correspondent revealed on his personal Twitter account on Friday afternoon that Leeds also "want to move out in this window" goalkeeper Turnbull, 32, and central midfielder Diagouraga, 29,

Like Murphy, Turnbull and Diagouraga have been frozen out of the first-team squad and forced to train with the youth team and play as over-age players for the Under-23s.

The writing has been on the wall for the trio since last August, when they were demoted by Monk and failed to secure transfers in the final days of the summer window.

Monk has revealed he is in the market for new signing this month to strengthen the club's promotion challenge, which paves the way for Turnbull and Diagouraga to leave.

Goalkeeper Turnbull is in the final six months of his Leeds contract while enforcer Diagouraga is tied to the Championship club until the summer of 2018 after his arrival from Brentford 12 months ago.
